A warm, personal welcome awaits you at A La Bonne Vie Restaurant.
We opened our Restaurant, Café & Auberge in July 2008 and have since built up a regular clientele based upon serving good food and drink in a welcoming friendly atmosphere.
We strive to use locally grown produce in our menus and when possible, vegetables from our own restaurant garden. Our food is all home-made and cooked to order and we do our utmost to accommodate people's likes, dislikes and any dietary requirements - all we ask is for a little notice if possible.
We like to change our lunch menu daily to give our customers variety, but some English classics such as Fish, Chips and Mushy Peas have found their way onto Friday's Special Menu most weeks!

A La Cruz is a brand new restaurant located on the Northampton Road in Farringdon, London. The restaurant is inspired by the culture, flavours and spirit of Argentina. Traditional Argentinean parties are famous for great food, excellent wine and proud, passionate people. You will find these qualities in every dish that we serve.
Dining in A La Cruz is a truly memorable experience, designed to satisfy all the senses. The restaurant boasts a large, bright dining area on the ground floor, with one wall entirely lined with an exclusive artwork by David Tremlett. At the heart of A La Cruz sits the asador, a traditional fire pit surrounded by metal crosses used in Argentina to cook whole sides of meat for large gatherings. This creates a warm, aromatic and welcoming environment that is utterly unique.

Devon Rose are proud to announce supplying Cafe Leon - Observer Food Award Winner. "Mcdonalds in Heaven" is how the directors of this new London based chain describe themselves. And it is absolutely true. Fastidious about quality, sourcing, sustainability as well as taste and welfare, Cafe Leon certainly ticks all of our boxes. For a capital city, London is lacking in imaginative wholefood eateries. Stop in for a power smoothie and be impressed by the cheery and welcoming service. The menu is great, they serve quinoa, use seasonal foods from trusted farms, free range, organic and fair trade delights, fruit sugar instead of sugar and ground almonds instead of flour. And all this with an inexpensive price tag. Who could ask for more.

There’s no doubt about it. Juicing is one of the easiest ways to make your life a whole lot healthier.
Raw juices are simply freshly pressed fruit and vegetables – carrots, apples, pears or even celery and beetroot - just chopped up and put through a juicer machine to extract all the juice and goodness. That’s it.
Better still their offering includes Devon Rose meats.. not juiced of course, but their sarnies, salads and wraps are testiment to good food.

Harry’s restaurant is named after Harry Hems, a master carver who occupied the premises following its design and construction by the architect Robert Medley Fulford in 1882.
Harry arrived in Exeter in 1886 to work on the Royal Albert Memorial Museum. On arrival, he found a horseshoe lying in the road, which he interpreted as a lucky omen and so decided to settle in Exeter. The premises were then known as ‘Ye Luckie Horseshoe Studios; the lucky horseshoe can still be seen above the main door of the restaurant. On 4th December each year, Harry hosted a Christmas dinner for the aged poor – this tradition is still commemorated at Harry’s with an annual charity dinner.

Following the death of his father in 1958, Francis Holder took over the family bakery in Lille. With his mother's assistance he expanded the business and when the Nouvelles Galeries opened in 1965, he immediately offered to supply their bread. Under the “Moulin Bleu” Francis Holder provided bread to Auchan and Monoprix from his bakery in Lambersart, and by 1970 he was able to purchase an abandoned industrial site at La Madeleine, in the suburbs of Lille, transforming it into an enormous bakery.
The installation in 1972 of a wood stove at the original Lille bakery proved so popular that, as the Paul chain expanded into French malls in Paris and other major French cities, it was incorporated into the general layout. Apart from a change of livery in 1993 (to the now-signature black), the layout and visual aesthetic of Paul stores has not changed.
