In April 2018 Devon Rose joined forces with another family-run business with an impressive pedigree in meat. The Greig family, known for sustainable farming and their award-winning ethical online meat business, Pipers Farm.
The owners of Pipers Farm in Cullompton, Devon have announced the purchase of free
range meat supplier, Devon Rose. Handling the butchery, packing and
distribution of its wide range of high welfare and traceable meat from a purpose-built unit in
Exeter, Devon Rose will continue to fulfill trade and wholesale meat orders right
across the UK.
As a result of this acquisition, Devon Rose will also become the go-to platform for
the catering and hospitality industry to purchase Pipers Farm’s multi award-winning produce for their menus. This move creates a one-stop- shop for chefs and food service buyers developing their menus at a variety of price points and with a variety of certification bodies including free-range and organic produce, all sourced direct from some of the countries best producers.
With many new initiatives planned over the coming months, additional job opportunities are also set to be created for the local area.
The owners of Pipers Farm and Devon Rose continue to purvey the finest meat, based on time-honoured principals, direct to food service through Devon Rose and to homes around the country through Pipers Farm.
Devon Rose’s Matthew House will continue to oversee the business, along with a new management team of Pipers Farm’s Will Greig and Abby Allen.
